Warnings & Precautions
WARNING SIGNS TO STOP EXERCISING:
- Vaginal bleeding
- Shortness of breath before exertion
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Chest pain or palpitations
- Muscle weakness
- Calf pain or swelling (which may indicate a deep vein thrombosis)
- Pre-term labour
- Decreased fetal movement
- Abdominal pain especially around back or pubic area
- Excessive fatigue
- Amniotic fluid leakage
THIS WORKSHOP IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- Significant heart disease
- Restrictive lung disease
- Incompetent cervix
- Multiple gestation at risk of premature labour
- Persistent second or third trimester bleeding
- Placenta previa after 26 weeks gestation
- Premature labour during current pregnancy
- Broken water
- Preeclampsia or pregnancy induced hypertension
